Billy Bolt Wins Hixpania SuperEncierro 2026

Billy Bolt made a winning return to the top step at Hixpania Hard Enduro, taking victory in the SuperEncierro final after an injury-disrupted outdoor season. The British Husqvarna rider finished ahead of fellow Brit Ashton Brightmore, with Teodor Kabakchiev completing the podium in Spain.

Bolt delivered a strong performance in Friday's SuperEncierro final, completing nine laps in 7 minutes 15.10 seconds. His pace proved too much for the chasing pack, as he crossed the finish line 5.56 seconds ahead of Brightmore.

Bolt shows his speed at Hixpania

The victory is an important moment for Bolt after a frustrating year in hard enduro. A hand injury disrupted his early outdoor campaign, before further knee trouble forced him to miss the Roof of Africa and Sea to Sky rounds. His Hixpania result provides a timely reminder of the speed that makes him one of the sport's most dangerous competitors.

Bolt also recorded the fastest lap of the final at 34.64 seconds, underlining his pace throughout the short, intense race. Rather than needing a lengthy event to build momentum, he made his opportunity count when it mattered.

Ashton Brightmore secured second place in 7:20.66, finishing just over five seconds behind Bolt. Teodor Kabakchiev followed in third at 7:22.68, while Mitch Brightmore narrowly missed the podium in fourth, 10.73 seconds off the winner's time.

Close battle behind the winner

Manuel Lettenbichler finished fifth, 21.03 seconds behind Bolt, with Alfredo Gómez taking sixth. James Moore and Mario Román finished seventh and eighth respectively, while Marc Fernandez Serra claimed ninth. Britain's Toby Shaw rounded out the top ten, completing eight laps.

For Bolt, the result is about more than winning a short-format race. After a season interrupted by injuries and missed events, he has shown that he can still deliver when the pressure is on. The SuperEncierro victory gives him a positive platform heading into the remaining Hixpania action, with more racing still to come over the weekend.
